In his latest email Ken McCarthy talks on “Internet video: What a long way we’ve come”. [‘System Seminar’]

Ken says, “Amazingly this list and the System Video Blog is six years old this year.

As evidence of how far we’ve all come since 2005 when I started the blog (all about Internet video before anyone realized what a big thing Internet video was going to be)…

Here’s a piece of work from a local kid who has been helping me with editing the last couple of years.

He entered it in the YouTube Telly Awards contest and got nominated.

This guy is the archetypal “good kid” and the video he made – a one-minute spot for Sprint cellular – is pretty
impressive and funny.

Just ten years ago this would have been a five figure production.

If you’re so inclined, take a look and give him a thumbs up.

Best,

Ken

P.S. A week from today, I’ll be getting in the car and heading to New York City for the LAST SYSTEM SEMINAR.

This series has been the hottest thing in Internet marketing ever since we rolled it out 2002 – copied, ripped off, “borrowed” from by scores of wannabe gurus – and this is your last chance to experience it.”
