A real pain in the neck . . .
In last week’s tip, I mentioned that upon my wife leaving town to attend a five day workshop in Arizon, she suggested I ‘do something useful’ with all the free time I’d have while she was away.
And following her suggestion (which is usually a good idea), I used her time away to write a 100+ page book.
When she came home and I showed her the results, she was pretty impressed.
Then she said, ‘When is the book going to be available at Amazon?’
I replied, ‘It already is. You can find it at . . .’ and I provided her the link.
Again, she was impressed.
But here’s the problem.
After spending close to 100 hours writing, editing and preparing my book to upload to Amazon, I ended up with a real pain in the neck – from too many hours spent hunched over the computer keyboard.
So now I’m paying for my hard work with a stiff neck and orders to stay away from the keyboard for a few days.
Still, even with a stiff neck, I wrote and posted a few articles on my site this past week about what was involved in writing and getting my book on Amazon.
And even though it’s only been available for a few days, the book is doing pretty well at Amazon.
It’s already gotten some good reviews, and the sales are starting to pick up.
To see what it’s about, visit http://www.amazon.com/dp/B007OV4TBY – and feel free to order a copy (it’s only $2.99).
