Educational institutions inherently have respect by Google. What is found there definitely doesn’t stay there; Google spreads it around. You can let some of this authority rub off on you.

Dr. Schenk (a contributor to IM NewsWatch, by the way) has released a WSO in which he is sharing information on high-authority EDU institutions who allow the public (you and me) to created content on their institution website, typically by creating posts on a blog, but sometimes on a wiki.

It’s not simply that you can comment on posts other people created; you can post content yourself. Dr. Schenk has found 10 institutions that allow this. He also has found 10 secondary schools or other educational institutions, with a .US domain, that allow such content, too. He has created 10 packets of information, each with a university and another institution.

He goes beyond simply giving you the URL. He explains the specifics of each institution’s process to create content, so there is no question what to do. You can buy one information packet, or as an upgrade, buy all 10.

Why bother with this process? These are high PR sites, five are PR 8, two are PR 7 and three are PR 5. Their PR may boost your site’s value in the eyes of Google.
