Covert Copy Traffic: Let your visitors spread the word #ad
Soren Jordansen, John Merrick & Cindy Battye, partners who have created a number of widely-respected products, have just created Covert Copy Traffic.
Social sharing is quickly becoming one of the most important factors when Google and other search engines consider how high your blog should rank. Encouraging your visitors to share their love for your site is key for increasing your visibility in search engines. That’s what Covert Copy Traffic does.
Email Is The The Internet’s Original Sharing Tool, and it’s still the most-used tool. It far outranks Facebook as a sharing tool. Unfortunately, even if you have a button people can use to send an email recommendation, most of the time people simply copy and paste your URL from the browser. Why is it unfortunate? Google never knows it happens so you don’t get any SEO credit for it. Even worse, they may not copy your link at all; they may just copy your content into email (or into Facebook, Twitter, etc.) But that is now changed.
With Covert Copy Traffic installed in a WordPress site, when people copy your content, your link is automatically and flexibly added when they paste that content.
You have a lot of control over the link that’s added:
* Change the text appearing before your link
* Control what link you want included when people copy and paste from your site
* Link to the individual page the content was copied from or to the home page
* Choose to link your blog’s home page (great if you are trying to rank the front page or get traffic there)
* Link to any website – this could for example be an affiliate link
* Choose not to use any links, if you just want the text to appear
* Decide if you want your attribution (text and link) to show above or below their content
* And finally you can set a minimum number of copied words required before the plugin activates link copy
This has the potential of dramatically increasing the viral traffic and the search engine traffic to your WordPress site.
This plugin, plus a developer’s license, is currently under $10, but rising here: Covert Copy Traffic
