Ryan Stevenson is releasing Daily Deal Azon today to make it easy to promote daily deals that Amazon announces and quickly shuts down after a few hours.

This plugin lets you include an Amazon affiliate ad on any WordPress website in your portfolio; it doesn’t need to be an affiliate site.

You can select categories of products (and keywords) to include in the ads, so the ads are suitable for your audience.

There are four variations in how the ads are displayed:
• The default style is set of three scrollable ads that the user clicks on to scroll. (You can change the number of ads in the scroll.)
• There is also an auto-scrolling set of ads. This type and the first type both use content pulled from Amazon’s daily deal database.
• You can also use a custom ad for an item at Amazon. The plugin pulls information from the product’s primary listing on the Amazon site, and uses that rather than pulling Amazon deal-of-the-day content.
• You can create a deal-countdown ad for some other product you sell, ignoring Amazon completely. You set the start time and end time,

The Amazon deal expiration information is pulled from Amazon for the Amazon deal ads, so it is a real expiration date. These dates cannot be altered or faked in any way by the user of the plugin. If you advertise your own product, you set the sale dates and plug them into the system.
