Today we downloaded a new (and free) e-book on what really works in online marketing. It’s called CBS Method- The Book. It’s by Emi Nelson, Precious Ng and Damon Nelson.

They have been disappointed in a lot of “shiny objects” that have been thrown in front of marketers, promising the world and often delivering very little.

They wrote this book to say go back to the basics. The fundamentals of building a business online are not complex and involve the same principles that have worked for years:
■ Finding a small niche you can dominate
■ Building a list of followers in that niche,
■ creating a product to solve a problem of those people
■ Promoting your product where a lot of the people with the problem will see it.
■ Delivering on your promise.

By the way, their abbreviation “CBS” stands for “Create, Build and sell”.
