SEMpdx is hosting a webinar on Google Analytics 4 with Chris Sietsema on Tuesday, March 9, 2021, at 11.00 am PST.

In this session led by Chris Sietsema of Teach to Fish Digital, we will get to know the core differences between Universal Analytics and GA4, conduct a walk-through of the GA4 interface to determine what it could mean for your measurement practices, and discuss the right time to “upgrade” to this evolved platform (Spoiler Alert: run Universal Analytics and Google Analytics 4 in parallel for now). We’ll also answer the following questions:

  • What is an event-based data model?
  • What does the GA4 configuration/set-up process involve?
  • Do I need to stop using my existing Google Analytics account? Can I still create a new account with the older (Universal Analytics) version of Google Analytics?
  • How can GA4, Google Tag Manager and Google Data Studio work in harmony?
  • I have a mobile app I want to track. How will GA4 play a role in the measurement process?
  • How are on-click behaviors (e.g. downloads, outbound clicks and video engagement) tracked in GA4?
  • Is the integration with Google Ads any different?
  • Can I still prepare Audiences in GA4?
  • What is Google BigQuery and why might I need to rely upon it?

All of the materials presented will be provided to attendees, and additional resources will be made available.
