Flix: Earn from YouTube videos, DailyMotion videos, your own videos #ad
Jason Fulton and Seun Ogundele are releasing Flix at 9:00 EDT today. This new tool lets you monetize any video of your own, or from YouTube, or from DailyMotion.
The Flix platform lets you upload any videos you have or videos it finds for you on YouTube or DailyMotion, placing them on its own proprietary platform.
Then you can place ads in the videos just as YouTube does on its site. But these are your own ads, not ads chosen by YouTube, and they contain your affiliate links or sign-up links, not the links of a big chain store.
That’s a major difference compared with placing a video on YouTube. Only the biggest players on YouTube benefit from having ads on their videos. With this new platform, you control the ads, and you get the revenue from them.
You can also insert a Call-to-Action button in the ad. When the viewer clicks the button, you are rewarded. If your button asks people to sign up for your newsletter, you have a new subscriber. If you have a Buy Button for a product, you have a new sale. You write whatever ad you want and place it in your video.
That opens up a wide range of revenue opportunities for you, and those opportunities will grow over time. That’s because:
☝ 82% of internet traffic will be video by 2022 (15X higher than 2017) so a lot more videos will be watched. Yours could be among them.
☝ 65% of consumers prefer watching videos compared to reading so video ads will become more important every passing day. They are the way for you to sell.
This is a chance to get an early start on one of the most important marketing trends of the future, video direct response marketing.
In case you are wondering, everything Flix does is compliant with Terms of Service and with applicable laws.
The investment is $17 for the first 6 hours, then it goes into “dime sale” mode, rising with each sale.
