The Electronic Frontier Foundation has published an article about setting up HTTPS by default in your browser.

The EFF team says, “You no longer need HTTPS Everywhere to set HTTPS by default! Major browsers now offer native support for an HTTPS only mode.

Firefox

The steps below apply to Firefox desktop. HTTPS-only for mobile is currently only available in Firefox Developer mode, which advanced users can enable in about:config.

Settings > Privacy & Security > Scroll to Bottom > Enable HTTPS-Only Mode.”
