The CMI team says, “Google is backing off its plan to deprecate third-party cookie tracking in favor of an updated approach that will “elevate user choice.” Personalization based on cross-platform consumption data may be sticking around, but Robert Rose says marketers will still need a plan for generating first-party data because the data privacy saga isn’t over yet.”
