Improving blog performance is essential for attracting and retaining readers while boosting search engine rankings. Enhanced performance through faster loading times, quality content, and SEO optimization drives higher traffic and engagement.

Convince & Convert contributor Gini Roberts has published an article featuring useful strategies to improve blog performance.

She says, “Spending more time (4+ hours), and writing longer articles, yields significantly greater results.

The research found that the bloggers who average 2000+ words per article are far more likely to report “strong results.”

However, this does not mean that higher quality = less frequency.

The data suggests bi-weekly is the minimum posting cadence for strong performance rates.

It’s safe to say that users have high expectations when it comes to content consumption. They won’t settle for subpar content, nor do they want to wait an entire week (or month!) for more of what they like.

Treat your blog feed like a social feed. This takes more strategy and time to produce.

This is one of the biggest takeaways from the research. It makes so much sense, yet many blogs are not yet incorporating it.”
