Facebook launching paid news subscription product

The Telegraph, eMarketer and Marketing Week have reported the news of Facebook launching paid news subscription product. According to Telegraph reporters, Facebook will introduce the new feature in October 2017. Facebook’s Instant Articles SDK Extension now Supports Google AMP

In its drive to make Instant Articles support other major publishing formats, Facebook has launched an  an extension for the open source Software Development Kit (SDK) which is used to build Instant Articles. The new SDK will build content publishable as Google AMP and in near future it will also build content that could be published as Apple News articles. Facebook Uses AI to Penalize Sites with Offensive Ads

Facebook, in its mission to penalize the sites with offensive and spammy ads, has started using Artificial Intelligence in the news feed. It includes posts and ads that link to sites with duplicate content and annoying ads. ‘Facebook Rewards’ QR Codes Bring Discounts on Offline Purchases, TechChrunch Reports

TechChrunch has reported a new Facebook feature called ‘Facebook Rewards’ which provides QR Codes that help Facebook users get discounts on offline purchases. Facebook Announces $8.03 Billion Revenue for Q1 2017

Facebook has announced 8.03 billion in revenue for the first quarter of 2017. The company received 1.94 billion users per monthin this period and the company earned 7.86 billion in advertising revenue.
