The Engadget has reported that Snapchat is changing its chronological Stories feed as a part of its redesigning efforts. According to a TechChrunch report, Snapchat added 4.5 million users in Q3 and earned $207.9 million in revenue with a loss of $0.14 per share. According to a GeekWire report, Snapchat parent company Snap has acquired Placed, a Seattle-based location analytics startup. This acquisition will help Snapchat to better measure in-app ads to in-store sales. According to a report from Mashable, Snapchat has released new geofilters for nearby businesses. According to Kerry Flynn, the geofilter displays the name of a nearby business with the name of the city below it in white text over snaps. Flynn says, “The update provides another engaging experience on Snapchat for any user and comes on the same day that the app introduced several major product changes.
